Quito, Ecuador

Type: Residential
Client: Imperia Constructora
Size: 8000 m2
Status: Under Construction

Imperia Balance is a biophilic tower rising 18 stories high. As part of its structural framework and double-skin façade, the design incorporates terraces and planters, ensuring that every apartment maintains direct contact with green spaces. This connection is further enhanced by large windows, creating a sense of lightness and transparency in the tower’s inner façade.

The building's open terraces and French balconies introduce a new concept of spatiality and seamless indoor-outdoor integration. The interplay of volumes, planters, and vegetation allows for the inclusion of native Andean plant species, which envelop the tower’s outer structure. These elements reinforce the reconnection with the natural ecosystem, making greenery the protagonist of the architecture.
