District Building is an elegant and refined tower with a minimalist design. The defining feature of this building is its façade, inspired by the adaptive geometric logic of trees, river branches, and natural water flows. The structure is conceived as a living entity, much like a tree, with strong and robust roots at its base that extend upwards into delicate vertical elements, branching along the façade.
At the solid base of the tower, integrated planters introduce natural elements, where vegetation begins to grow, creating a lush foundation with shrubs and endemic Andean flowers that enhance the surrounding environment. The building consists of nine floors, housing 30 residential apartments: 13 one-bedroom suites, 16 two-bedroom apartments, 1 penthouse on the top floor, featuring two bedrooms and a spacious social area.
Apartment sizes range from 50 m² to 145 m². The structure also includes three underground parking levels, designed in split levels, providing 41 parking spaces, plus two additional visitor spaces and an individual storage unit for each apartment.
Residents will enjoy exclusive amenities such as a gourmet BBQ kitchen, spa, landscaped gardens, and a fitness area. The rooftop vegetation is carefully curated, embracing the biodiversity of the Ecuadorian highlands and the Andean climate, ensuring a sustainable, self-maintaining green space. The tower’s vision is to integrate native flora, creating a green oasis atop the building.
At street level, along Guillermo Reiss Street, larger trees and dense foliage will establish a natural transition to the upper levels, where smaller, native plant species will be introduced, culminating in a rooftop sanctuary.
This elegant and sophisticated tower is designed to become a landmark in Ecuador, seamlessly reconnecting residents with nature from the comfort of their homes. It offers an inspiring approach to vertical living, setting a new standard for high-rise residential design in Quito.
A modern, dynamic, and refined space with a strong identity, District is a project that enhances urban life with exceptional interior living spaces, contributing to the revitalization of this area of the city. The integration of nature is essential, not only for its psychological and emotional benefits but also for its economic, social, and ecological value. Just as human interaction is vital, so is the connection to green elements, which have been strategically placed throughout the design.
