Casa Bagus is characterized by a contemporary aesthetic with an ‘industrial’ inspiration, emphasizing the purity of materials while fostering a serene and welcoming atmosphere. This approach aims to convey a sense of tranquility in both the interior and exterior spaces of the residence, creating an experience of harmony and balance.
The façade materiality is expressed through the use of exposed concrete, which grants a minimalist and solid character while establishing a subtle connection with the surrounding environment. The choice of this material seeks an aesthetic integration that dialogues with the landscape, merging the structure with nature. Complementing this concept, glass panels and surfaces with opening mechanisms will be incorporated, allowing a seamless flow between indoor and outdoor spaces. This enhances a direct connection with the natural surroundings while offering the flexibility to open or separate the spaces as needed.
The project follows an introspective approach, where the exterior expression yields to the subtlety and serenity of the interior spaces. Upon entering the house, visitors experience a transition into a different realm—a zen refuge that radiates peace, tranquility, and a deep connection with nature, both inside and out. The ambiance evokes a feeling of gratitude for life and everything that surrounds us. The inclusion of a Buddha in this setting is considered a key element to reinforce this contemplative atmosphere. Upon entry, one perceives crossing a threshold into a space of harmony—a true sensory paradise where serenity and spiritual connection with the environment become tangible.
