CORREA + FATEHI

Located in a suburban and generic context in the outskirts of Toronto, Canada, we set ourselves the challenge of designing the most attractive generic house in the area. For that, we took the typical plans of a ¨cookie cutter¨ house typology and modernized it to create a more effective, modern and different project under the same standard and wood-frame construction characteristics prevalent in North America and in all houses in the area. The result was an increase in the value of not only the home but also of the neighbourhood, and an incentive for suburban developments in North America to acquire a new type of generic.
